The beneficiaries of CLR activities are less
privileged urban and rural children in the birth-14 years age-group.
The CLR serves them mainly through the adults who care for them,
and those who are involved directly or indirectly in their education,
including :
Elementary school teachers and instructors in
supplementary education programmes
'Balwadi'/pre-primary teachers
and other workers in programmes for early childhood care and
development
